The Best color temperature for bad climate is 3000K. Yellow light is suitable for bad climate because it can cut through air moisture as compared to white light. It is perfect for conditions involving fog, snow, sleet, rain and storms thus it is the best HID color for visibility.
The effect of different color temperature
Emits a yellow light. Often used in place of halogen fog lamps.
Emits a pure white light. This is the color of choice for most car manufactures and can be found equipped on a wide range of vehicles. Used if you want the most light output and the best performance.
Emits a pure white light with a very subtle hint of blue, this is the most popular color choice for aftermarket HID installs.
